Chairlift
A chairlift is a type of aerial lift that transports skiers, snowboarders, or sightseers up and down a mountainside or hillside. It consists of a series of chairs attached to a continuously moving cable loop that travels between two terminal stations, typically the base and the summit of a slope. Passengers sit on the chairs as they are lifted off the ground and carried to their destination. Chairlifts are commonly used in ski resorts to provide convenient access to the slopes and are also utilized in amusement parks and scenic areas for sightseeing purposes.
